How to Open a Link Within a Web Page in a new Tab in FireFox

Using the Firefox browser can streamline your work. For example, you can keep your email page open and provide technical support to your clients and guidance to your employees while you browse the Internet by opening each page in its own tab. You can't configure Firefox to automatically open pages in new tabs, but you can use a shortcut to open links within Web pages in new tabs. This enables you to easily organize your pages. Tabs can be moved in Firefox, so you can also rearrange the pages based on their importance.

  1. Launch Mozilla Firefox and navigate to the Web page that contains the links you want to open in new tabs. Hold down "Ctrl" (in MacOS: command key) and click a link to open it in a new tab.
  2. Make Firefox automatically switch to newly opened tabs by opening the "Options" window, clicking "Tabs," and then enabling the "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" option.
  3. There is an addon in firefox "Open Link with New Tab" or "Tab Mix Plus" and you can install them.
